Having Read The Holy Koran
I personally believe that The Prophet Mohammed was a Messenger of God.
I think that God our loving Father has sent prophets and messengers to His Children throughout recorded history.
I have also read the Epistles of Paul and the story of his life and of his calling to be a messenger and prophet to the Romans.
I believe that God our father loves all of His children and wants them to love Him and keep His commandments.
He has not given up and continually reaches out to everyone with his loving hand, words and spirit in hopes of one day bringing them all back to live for all eternity in His holy mansions above.
There are those in every faith and religious sect that pervert, change the simple meanings and cherry pick the Holy writings or scriptures given by God to His various servants and believers.
These evil doers exist in all religions and always have. They choose to use the Word of God to do evil and to enslave His children.
These are Demons and evil doers and they walk amongst us even today, preaching falsehoods and trying to ensnare the foolish and unlearned all over the world.
Islam is not unique in this regard.
Islam is one of the world’s greatest religions and has billions of peace loving believers who love God, the Compassionate and Merciful and try to follow the precepts and teachings of His messenger, to them, Mohammed.
Let us not, like the evil doers who use any excuse to justify their evil deeds, condemn all of Islam any more than we would condemn all Catholics because of the Mafia or the Mormons for the apostate polygamist cultists.
Those who choose to persecute sincere and righteous religious followers are doing the work of the devil just as those who pervert God’s holy words, persecute and kill his messengers and prophets and are intent ONLY on doing evil, while refusing to worship and love God.
The first and greatest Commandments of Christianity are...
1. To Love God. and
2. To love thy neighbor as thyself…
I pray that no one reading this will seek to do otherwise.

| Ace! I am so proud of you! It takes courage to seek wisdom outside of your own beliefs and comfort zone. Yes, Islam is a religion of peace. Yes, what the extremists teach is a perversion of their Holy Scriptures. Yes, we should love our neighbors, even when they hate us (and especially when that hate is based on ignorance). Well done! |

Thank you, Deb...
I have seen many perversions of the Gospel within the mordern day LDS PEOPLE. They seem to adhear to the stuff they like and ignore that which they find difficult.
OUR LDS leaders have a full time job just trying to keep the people and SOME of the leaders of far off congregations in line with what is taught.
Another example of believers accepting some religious teachings and ignoring others is found in Voodoo.
The christian missionaries tried to teach the people who were still engaged in witchcraft i.e: worhipping plants, bones, animal spirits, the sun and moon lead by a witch doctor...
They liked the candles, saints and some of the dogma and rather that converting they merely TOOK those parts and added it to their witchcraft ceremonies.
